Explore the French Caribbean on the island of Martinique in our newest episode for PBS! We’re excited that Washington, DC locals can watch “Martinique Adventures” on WHUT-TV, Howard University Television, on Thursday, March 16th at 9:30pm.
An overseas department of France, Martinique is located in the Lesser Antilles, nestled between Dominica and St. Lucia. The island combines beautiful beaches and bays with lush rainforests and mountains, quiet fishing villages and vibrant culture. On Martinique, host Darley Newman met up with local guides to take a deeper dive into the top places to sun, sail, snorkel, eat, drink and enjoy eco-friendly nature and fascinating history.
This special episode is debuting on PBS stations across the nation starting in March and April as a part of Season Three of Travels with Darley. See what else is in our new season from our filming in the USA and Asia and look for these episodes on your local PBS TV station and coming up on Create TV!
