Not far from Chicago, Darley drives Route 66 in a classic car to visit surprising natural sites and well-preserved historic attractions, meeting bison at Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie and taking in history at the Rialto Square Theatre, an architectural masterpiece where famous stars of the past and present have performed. In Ottawa, viewers learn about Illinois history and modern Midwestern culture while cycling through the city and exploring the Illinois River by canoe, capping off a truly diverse season
